The woman was left bleeding profusely and was first rushed to the district hospital before being referred to Agra for advanced treatment. Her condition is reported to be critical.

CCTV footage of the attack has surfaced online, showing the student intercepting and restraining the teacher moments before the assault. The visuals have sparked widespread anger on social media, with users questioning alleged inaction despite earlier complaints of harassment.

An X user who shared the clip claimed the accused had been stalking and harassing the teacher for a prolonged period, even after she changed schools and routes. The post demanded swift arrest and strict legal action.

Responding to the online uproar, Mainpuri police confirmed that an FIR has been registered under relevant sections of the law based on a complaint filed by the teacher’s brother. Officials said an investigation is underway and teams have been deployed to trace the accused, who remains absconding.
