A man’s dream to fund an international honeymoon turned into a nightmare after a brutal robbery landed him in jail.

According to police, the duo posed as AC repairmen to gain access to the residence of Harishchandra Pandey, Under Secretary in the Department of Science and Technology.

Once inside, they assaulted his wife, Shashi Pandey, on July 9. They reportedly slit her throat and smashed her head against a wall before fleeing with her gold chain and earrings.
