The Cyberabad Police issued an advisory urging companies and employees in the IT corridor and surrounding areas to plan for early logouts starting from 3 pm, due to heavy rainfall expected in the area, Telangana Today reported.
The measure aims to prevent traffic gridlocks, ensure public safety, and facilitate the smooth movement of emergency services. As per the report, the police, in its advisory, have recommended staggered logouts rather than mass exits to ease traffic during peak rainfall hours.
“Early release will help reduce congestion and avoid the chaos caused by sudden downpours during rush hour. We request all employers to cooperate,” the police advisory said. The warning comes amid weather department alerts predicting intense showers accompanied by strong winds in the evening.
