A biker who was with a group of other bikers, was assaulted by a few men in an SUV, after the SUV allegedly tried to disbalance the bikes in Gurugram.
The biker, Hardik Sharma, claimed that the assault happened without any instigation from his group and that they had stopped on the side of the road to let the SUV pass after they were tried to be disbalanced.
The incident happened on the Dwarka Expressway when the bikers were on their way to have breakfast in Manesar, from Ambience Mall. A video of the assault has surfaced online.
Sharma said that he was hit by an iron bat and survived only because he was wearing a helmet. He also said that the men in the SUV hit his bike and hand with a bat after he went back to help a friend who was left behind with them.
"They said, 'We will shoot you if you shoot our videos'," Hardik said, adding, "I don't even know why they started hitting us. They didn't say anything, just started attacking us. I also want them to pay for the damage to my bike. It's a very expensive bike. It costs Rs 11 lakh. They damaged the bike and damaged the accessories worth Rs 3 to 4 lakh that I installed. The damage rounds up to around Rs 4 to Rs 5 lakh."
Hardik said that it took about 12 hours for him to be able to file an FIR and that he used paid AI tools to find the accused on Instagram.
