Forbes India, in collaboration with L’Oréal Paris, has announced the 2025 edition of its esteemed W-Power List, which honors self-made women who are transforming industries, inspiring change, and leading with vision and purpose. The event is scheduled to take place in Mumbai on April 30.
The W-Power List 2025 includes achievers from various fields such as finance, entrepreneurship, sports, entertainment, technology, social impact, and governance. What unites these remarkable women is not only their success but also their ability to challenge the status quo and their strong commitment to building meaningful legacies.
From boardrooms to social change movements, the honorees represent a vibrant cross-section of India's evolving leadership landscape.
"We at Forbes India consciously document and share stories of women leaders and the impact they create. This focus is not limited to one issue or one event each year," said Suveen Sinha, Editor of Forbes India. "The world will be better with greater participation of women across sectors, particularly in decision-making roles."
The upcoming event promises an evening of storytelling, recognition, and dialogue, featuring keynote conversations and special segments that highlight the journeys of women who are setting new benchmarks. It will bring together business leaders, changemakers, and public voices who are advancing India’s narrative on gender equity and leadership.
The list includes notable women such as Manu Bhaker, shooter; Leena Nair, Global Chief Executive Officer of Chanel; Kaku Nakhate, India Chief Executive Officer of Bank of America, N.A. (BANA); and many others.
