Enrique Iglesias’ Mumbai concert: Parking details, entry rules and prohibited items - all you need to know

Grammy Award winner Enrique Iglesias, best known for chart-toppers like Hero, Bailamos, Escape and Addicted, is all set to cast his spell once again after a gap of 13 years in Mumbai. The global pop star will perform on October 29 and 30 at the MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex.

According to a report by The Indian Express, the event is open to people aged 5 and above. Every attendee is required to wear their District Smart Band at all times and carry a valid government-issued photo ID. Re-entry is not allowed.

Mumbai weather: Carry a poncho, raincoat or jacket as umbrellas are prohibited for safety reasons.

Timings: Gates will open at 2 pm. The concert will start at 6 pm with opening acts by Progressive Brothers and Jonita Gandhi, followed by Enrique’s performance at 8 pm. The event wraps up by 10 pm, the report added.

Entry: Gate 1 is for VIP and Gate 3 is for general access.

How to reach MMRDA Grounds: The nearest Metro station to the venue is BKC (Aqua Line), located about 1.4 km away, with services extended till midnight for the concert. Cityflo buses will also operate return rides, which can be booked via the Cityflo app. The closest railway stations are Kurla (2.7 km) and Bandra (3.3 km), while the ICICI Bank BKC bus stops are just 400 metres from the venue.

Parking details: There’s no parking inside the venue. Go for public transport, cabs, or carpool. For those driving, the nearest paid parking spots include MMRDA Open Car Park (Next to Jio World Garden, 900 m), Jio World Garden Underground Parking (900 m), Trident Pay and Park (900 m), MMRDA Parking (near Canara Bank, 1.2 km), Public Car Park near US Consulate (1.4 km). The nearest free parking spots are R2 Grounds (1.2 km) and Parinee Grounds (Next to ONGC, 1.4 km).

As per the report, a designated drop-off point is located just 20 metres from the venue for wheelchair users. Entry is through Gate 1, with dedicated viewing zones and accessible washrooms available inside.

Food & drinks: All food and beverages at the venue can be purchased only via the District Smart Band — cash, cards, or UPI payments will not be accepted. You can top up the band online by scanning it, but do so carefully, as the balance is non-refundable, non-transferable, and valid only for this event.

Free hydration points are available at the venue, but attendees will need to purchase reusable glasses priced at ₹50. Expect an extensive food lineup — featuring Mezcalita Cantina and The Rameshwaram Café in the VIP section, and popular outlets like Foo, Starbucks, and Good Flippin’ Burgers in the General Access area.

What’s allowed, what’s not

Power banks, wallets and clutch bags up to 6”x9” (subject to frisking) are allowed.

Pets are not allowed inside the venue. Backpacks, totes, and bags larger than A4 size (30cm x 18cm) are prohibited as there are no locker facilities. Unsealed cigarettes & lighters, coins, professional cameras, selfie sticks, Laptops, helmets, drones, Vapes, aerosol perfumes, Water bottles, umbrellas, alcoholic beverages aren’t allowed inside the venue.
