The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms with rain in parts of Delhi over the next two hours. On Saturday, residents of Delhi awoke to cloudy skies and a minimum temperature of 24.3 degrees Celsius, which is 2.2 degrees below the seasonal average. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 42 degrees Celsius.
Additionally, two days after much of Delhi-NCR experienced a thick haze due to a dust surge, the air quality was reported in the “moderate” category at 9 AM on Saturday. The Air Quality Index (AQI) at that time was recorded at 183, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), as reported by the news agency PTI.
