Bengaluru Outer Ring Road traffic congestion: Police announce alternate routes

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic, East) Sahil Bagla said vehicles would not be allowed to enter the Outer Ring Road from the Kalamandir side via the service road of Jeevika Hospital, Marathahalli, in Bengaluru.

To address traffic congestion on Bengaluru's Outer Ring Road (ORR) between Karthik Nagar Junction and Kalamandir, the police have imposed various restrictions with effect from Monday, Deccan Herald reported.

Giving details, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic, East) Sahil Bagla said vehicles would not be allowed to enter the ORR from the Kalamandir side via the service road of Jeevika Hospital, Marathahalli. Vehicles are also not allowed to enter the service road from the ORR near the Yamaha showroom.

As per the report, vehicles travelling from Chinnappanahalli Railway Gate towards Kadubeesanahalli and Devarabeesanahalli must proceed via the service road of Jeevika Hospital and must enter the ORR near the Yamaha showroom. And, vehicles travelling from the Mahadevapura and Karthik Nagar ORR side towards Whitefield/Varthur can enter the service road at the Kalamandir Junction and proceed towards Kundalahalli/Varthur.
