A Class 10 student was stabbed to death by his junior studying in Class 8 outside Seventh Day School in Ahmedabad's Khokhara on Tuesday.

The clash between the two allegedly began over a minor scuffle, but escalated when the accused stabbed the victim outside the school.

The injured student was rushed to a private hospital for treatment in Maninagar, where he succumbed to his injuries. Following his death, members of the Sindhi community gathered outside the school and into the premises, vandilising school buses, cars, and two-wheelers parked nearby.

As per media reports, the mob even grabbed a staff member by the collar and dragged him upstairs, while the principal and other staff members were also beaten. The doors and windows were broken, and property was severely damaged. A police force was deployed to bring the situation under control.
