17-year-old boy stabbed to death in Delhi's Seelampur, security tightened

A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death on Thursday evening in the Seelampur area of Delhi. According to officials, the incident occurred around 7:38 PM in J-Block, and the victim has been identified as Kunal.

The attack took place just 100 meters from his home while he had stepped out to buy milk. After the assault, the attackers fled the scene. Kunal was found critically injured and was rushed to JPC Hospital for emergency medical care; however, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Eyewitnesses and locals claimed that the suspects belonged to a specific community, heightening tensions in the area. The gruesome murder sparked outrage among residents, who took to the streets, blocking roads and staging protests. As the situation escalated, heavy security forces were deployed to maintain law and order.

In response to the incident, the police launched an investigation. Authorities dispatched a team from Seelampur Police Station to the hospital to gather details and initiate their inquiry. A crime scene team was also called in to inspect the location of the incident.

The police are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby shops and houses to identify the culprits and are conducting door-to-door inquiries for additional information. A case has been registered at the Seelampur Police Station, and multiple teams are working to apprehend the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
