Info Edge elevates Jatin Thukral as Chief AI Scientist and Naukri Chief Product Officer

Info Edge has elevated Jatin Thukral to the role of Chief Product Officer for Naukri and Chief AI Scientist for Info Edge, as part of an internal reorganisation within its recruitment vertical, effective November 3, 2025.

Thukral was previously Executive Vice President and Head of Data Science.

The decision was approved by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee on October 30, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Info Edge said the restructuring is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and align organisational roles with long-term strategic objectives.

Thukral, who holds a PhD from ETH Zurich and is also a CFA charterholder, has nearly two decades of experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, and business strategy.

Before joining Info Edge, he held leadership positions at BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and Flipkart. At Info Edge, he has been involved in shaping the company’s AI strategy and building its data science organisation across platforms including Naukri, 99acres, Jeevansathi, and Shiksha.

In his expanded role, Thukral will continue to lead AI initiatives across Info Edge while also taking charge of product development for Naukri and the Naukri Expert Assist business. The company said this alignment is intended to accelerate AI-first product innovation and enhance value delivery for users and customers.

Alongside the elevation of Thukral, Info Edge also redesignated Nimish Kulshrestha as Chief Business Officer for IIMJobs, Hirist, and NaukriGulf. Shail Gaurav has been redesignated as Chief Business Officer, Naukri 360/FF and Head of B2C Marketing. Both transitions are also effective November 3.

Atul Kumar will cease to be classified as part of the senior management personnel due to changes in the organisational structure, the filing added.
