Incessant rains have lashed many parts of Maharashtra. Mumbai, Pune and Satara have witnessed heavy downpour in the last few days.

In Mumbai, apart from routine water-logging due to 10-12 mm of rainfall at Hindmata, Versova and Sion, residents also witnessed choked drains and potholes on the roads. Train services could be delayed later in the day. However, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's disaster management has claimed traffic is in a workable condition as of now.

Meanwhile, incidents of flooding were reported from Lonalavala and Khed in Ratnagiri district. Rivers Jabudi and Indrayani are also overflowing owing to the heavy rainfall in the region. Electricity supply to Pimpri-Chinchwad railway stations was suspended due to a tree fall.
