DoT to send showcause notices to 83 licence holders

Secretary of the Department of Telecom said that showcause notices are in the process of being sent to 83 license holders.

The notices are being sent on account of failure to fulfill rollout obligations. The DoT is yet to receive the Attorney General's opinion on eligibility of licenses. The department will also be referring spectrum pricing issue back to TRAI this week.
