Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals appoints Subir Kumar Das Additional Director

Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors vide circular resolution dated December 15, 2014, have approved the appointment of Mr. Subir Kumar Das as an Additional Director of the Company. Mr. S. K. Das shall hold office as an Additional Director till the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company. The Board has considered him as an Independent Director in terms of the provisions of the Companies Act 2013.Further the Company has informed that, in terms of Section 175 of the Companies Act, 2013, the Board of Directors of the Company, through passing of resolution by circulation, have noted and approved the resignation of Mr. Y. B. Desai, due to his preoccupation and personal commitments as all Independent Director with effect from December 13, 2014.Source : BSE
