Samsung is expected to release its flagship Galaxy S26 series in the coming weeks. However, it seems that the company is also looking to introduce its next midrange Galaxy A smartphone soon, as the purported Galaxy A57 handset with the model number SM-A5760 has now been spotted on China's TENAA certification platform, revealing its key specifications. The appearance on TENAA also suggests that the Galaxy A57 is nearing its production, and could also launch soon.
Samsung Galaxy A57: Expected specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A57 is now listed on TENAA, and is mentioned to come with a 6.6-inch Full- HD+ AMOLED display with support for 16 million colours. The phone is also confirmed to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, along with face recognition support. Previously, a Geekbench listing had revealed that the phone could be powered by the upcoming Exynos 1680 chipset, and now this listing also suggests the same, as it is mentioned to feature an octa-core processor featuring clock speeds of up to 2.9GHz.
For optics, the Galaxy A57 is listed with a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP secondary camera, and a 5MP tertiary sensor. At the front, we could get a 12MP selfie shooter. The phone is also listed to come with a 4,905mAh-rated battery, which suggests a typical capacity of around 5,000mAh, possibly with 45W charging support.
The phone is mentioned to be just 6.9mm thick and weigh 182g. This means that it would be lighter and slimmer than its predecessor, the Galaxy A56. Like that phone, we can also expect a metal frame and a glass back in the Galaxy A57. The TENAA certification also suggests that the phone's official launch could happen in the coming weeks, with rumours indicating a Q1 2026 launch.
