Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A57 handset has now been listed on China’s TENAA certification platform, signalling an imminent launch in February. According to the listing, the Galaxy A57 will have a 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen and will be powered by an octa-core chipset.

However, it seems that the company is also looking to introduce its next midrange Galaxy A smartphone soon, as the purported Galaxy A57 handset with the model number SM-A5760 has now been spotted on China's TENAA certification platform, revealing its key specifications. The appearance on TENAA also suggests that the Galaxy A57 is nearing its production, and could also launch soon.

Samsung Galaxy A57: Expected specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A57 is now listed on TENAA, and is mentioned to come with a 6.6-inch Full- HD+ AMOLED display with support for 16 million colours. The phone is also confirmed to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, along with face recognition support. Previously, a Geekbench listing had revealed that the phone could be powered by the upcoming Exynos 1680 chipset, and now this listing also suggests the same, as it is mentioned to feature an octa-core processor featuring clock speeds of up to 2.9GHz.
