A new leak has surfaced regarding these smartphones, revealing key specifications. OnePlus Ace 6, Ace 6 Pro: Expected specifications
Reliable Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that OnePlus is currently testing the OnePlus Ace 6 series, which could come with a 6.83-inch OLED screen, 1.5K resolution, and up to 165Hz refresh rate. The tipster also claims that these smartphones will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 series ‘performance’ chips from Qualcomm.
It is predicted that the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro will feature a more capable chipset than the standard OnePlus Ace 6. However, there's no word from the tipster on whether this will be the current generation Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset or its successor, the purported Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, which is expected to be unveiled later this year.
Previously, the same tipster had mentioned that the OnePlus Ace 6 lineup could house batteries with more than 7,000 mAh capacity, with the Ace 6 Pro expected to come with a massive 7,800mAh unit. Further, according to the leaker, these handsets could also have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and come with ultrasonic fingerprint scanners. Moreover, they are likely to be rebranded as the OnePlus 14 series in global markets.
