Google will finally start selling the Pixel 9a in India. The phone was globally announced on March 19 but did not hit the shelves due to a "component quality issue." However, Google India has now confirmed the sale date. In India, the Pixel 9a will be available starting April 16, while customers in the UK, US, and Canada can purchase it from April 10.

The Google Pixel 9a is available in a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant and it is priced at Rs 49,999.It has been launched in three new colours including thee Obsidian, Peony, and Porcelain colour options.

The Google Pixel 9a features a 6.3-inch Actua pOLED Full HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has a peak brightness of up to 2,700nits and also comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by Google’s fourth-generation Tensor G4 chip paired with a Titan M2 security chip
In the camera department, the Pixel 9a features a 48MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 13MP ultra-wide camera at the rear. For selfies, the phone has a 13MP front camera. Further, the device comes with several Pixel-exclusive camera features, which are Add Me, Face Unblur, Magic Editor and Eraser, and Best Take.
In terms of battery, the Pixel 9a packs a 5,100mAh battery that supports 23W wired charging speed when used with Google's 45W power adapter and 7.5W wireless (Qi) charging. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, NavIC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port.
