Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is the next mainline game in the Black Ops series, scheduled to launch on October 25, 2024. Regarding Black Ops 6 content, lead game developers Treyarch and Raven Software have not deviated from earlier Call of Duty games. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies: The Dark Aether story continues
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies will continue the Dark Aether storyline, introduced in Black Ops Cold War Zombies, the predecessor to Black Ops 6.
The Dark Aether story began in the 1980s setting of Black Ops Cold War Zombies, in which a new arms race starts between the USA and the Soviet Union, all because of Projekt Endstation, an experiment from World War II.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies: Two new maps
At launch, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies will have two all-new round-based Zombies maps: Terminus and Liberty Falls.
As for the gameplay, expect an onslaught of hordes of the undead in a fast-paced cooperative gameplay. Surviving in Black Ops 6 Zombies is going to be a team effort where each player understands the relevancy of quick thinking and tactics.
In Call of Duty Black Ops 6, you will face “mobs of zombified creatures, with the bulk being the recently deceased, now animated due to strange, eldritch forces”, said the developers.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies: New power-ups, weapons, secrets and easter eggs
Black Ops 6 Zombies will have plenty of power-ups, both new and previously-featured ones but, at the same time, you will have very little time to take a breather.
As per Black Ops 6 developers, players can expect every location “to be packed with powerful weapons, new and returning power-ups, a pantheon of revolting entities to face, and a host of secrets and easter eggs to discover”. That means, Black Ops 6 Zombies could retain some old power-ups like Juggernog, Speed Cola and Quick Revive.
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies: Zombies-specific innovations and features
Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Zombies will get “many of the previously revealed innovations in movement, visual fidelity, audio, and weapons”, added the developers. Black Ops 6 Zombies will also come with new and returning Zombies-specific features.
