Apple has started selling Sony’s PlayStation VR2 Sense Controllers through its online store, officially expanding the Vision Pro’s input options beyond hand tracking. The move follows Apple’s announcement at WWDC25 that support for the PSVR2 controllers would arrive with visionOS 26.

The controllers, priced at $249.95 with a charging stand, are available for purchase now on Apple’s website and will reach Apple Stores on November 17. Interestingly, Apple’s store is currently the only place where the controllers can be purchased separately from the PSVR2 headset, offering Vision Pro users a rare standalone option.

Since the Vision Pro’s launch, users have been calling for a more tactile and responsive control method for games and professional applications that demand greater precision. The PSVR2 Sense Controllers address this need with six degrees of freedom tracking, finger touch detection, and advanced haptic feedback. Apple says these additions allow developers to create more immersive and interactive gameplay experiences tailored for Vision Pro.

One of the early examples is the upcoming pickleball simulation Pickle Pro, which takes advantage of the controllers’ motion tracking and vibration support to deliver realistic feedback. Apple notes that developers can now design games and applications that respond more accurately to player movement, enhancing both entertainment and productivity use cases.
