ICICI Prudential Nifty 50 index fund Parag Parikh Flexicap Fund Mirae Midcap Edelweiss Smallcap

  • guest: Which shortterm fund is good to invest now?

  • :

Depends on what is the period of investment - pls clarify that

  • guest: Hello Mrin Ji, I am senior citizen who want to invest in my grand-daughter name who is 16 years old now, amount will be around 500000 for her future savings, request you to please share which option is good should i invest lumpsum or in SIP or SWP mode. Thanks in advance.

  • :

You can break up the amount in a 4-5 tranches and invest in equity MF - Parag Parikh Flexicap Fund , Mirae Midcap

  • guest: Hi Madam, We have HL in joint name for that EMI is paid from my account only & in this case can my spouse show this in IT returns, please let me know.

  • :

You can claim home loan tax benefits only based on the amount each person pays for the EMI

  • guest: Hello Ma`am, I want to start SIP in ETF fund, so please suggest good ETF fund for the same amount will be around 5k.

  • :

ICICI Prudential Nifty 50 index fund

  • guest: Is investing in Government bonds is good idea & how much locking period is there for the same & minimum amount.

  • :

You need to choose the bond based on how long you are willing to keep it locked in for. As such I would suggest a short duration debt fund like ICICI as the fund manager will decide which stocks to buy etc.
