The uprising in Tunisia is spreading fire across the Middle East. In bigger emerging economies like India and China, inflation has resulted in strong monetary policy action leading to higher interest rates and posing a challenge to growth. In the developed world, it's not yet a cause for concern for the US but the EU put out a 5% alert in January and the UK reported 4% inflation.
