Bordman stated, "This is a pretty big win for the Indian narrative right now... From the Canadian perspective, we had gone pretty hard... We had named the Indian High Commission." He noted that the core issue remains unresolved: whether Nijjar was a Khalistani terrorist or a community activist. Bordman further indicated that Trudeau’s government might face a significant setback in upcoming polls, suggesting that the ongoing scandals, including the Indian issue, could fade into the background. He concluded that without hard evidence, India's position remains robust, questioning the likelihood of any international repercussions.
