In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Hardeep Singh Bedi, CMD, Tulip Telecom said that the company has exited the joint venture it had with Qualcomm following the latest development.
Speaking to Moneycontrol.com, Lt Col H S Bedi, CMD of Tulip Telecom says that telecom sector today has become as important to the economy as basic infrastructure. “It is therefore imperative that the government lay adequate emphasis on ensuring connectivity to the remotest parts of the country,” he says.
