Tur prices in Maharashtra is trading below the minimum support prices of Rs. 5050 per quintal. There is a plenty of stock this year owing to record area coverage and production. At the corresponding period of last year, Tur prices were trading at Rs. 9,000 per quintal. Farmers in Maharashtra are bound to sell Tur at an average price of Rs. 4250 to 4350 per quintal so farmers have started retaining their stock and it may restrict market to slip more from current levels.By: Skymetweather.com
