In an ongoing Rabi season, Rice sowing is down 10% at 13.37 lakh hectares as compared to 14.84 lakh hectares sown at the same time last year. Normal in season area of Rice is 43.58 lakh hectares in the country. West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Karnataka and Odisha are the largest producer of Rabi Rice.By: Skymetweather.com
