In Maharashtra, Maize sowing has been exceeded by more than the 30% to 2.77 lakh hectares as compared to 2.13 lakh hectares sown at the same time last year. This year sowing in also up by more than 42% than the average in season area of 1.94 lakh hectares in the state.By: Skymetweather.com
