As per Solvent Extractors Association of India (SEA), Kharif 2016/17 Groundnut production is expected to be up by 70% to 54.80 lakh tons as compared to 32.30 lakh tons produced in 2015/16. Gujarat is one of the key Groundnut producer in India and this year around 16.44 lakh hectares has been sown under Groundnut crop as compared to 12.95 lakh hectares sown in 2015/16.By: Skymetweather.com
