As per second advance estimates released by Gujarat Government, guar seed production in 2016/17 is expected to be around 2.42 lakh tons as against expectation of 1.32 lakh tons in first advance estimates released in September 2016. Total guar seed production in Gujarat in 2015/16 was around 1.86 lakh tons. Total acreage of guar seed in Gujarat was 3.52 lakh hectares for Kharif 2016/17.By: Skymetweather.com
