As per reports, the total area sown under Rabi crops as on 4th November 2016, stands at 81.55 lakh hectares as compared to 88.92 lakh hectares sown at the same time in 2015. Rice has been sown in an area of 9.51 lakh hectares that is up by more than 52% than the area sown at the same time in 2015/16.By: Skymetweather.com
