As per latest reports, total area covered under Rabi wheat 2016/17 cultivation has increased by more than 7% to 315.55 lakh hectares against 292.52 lakh hectares sown at the same time last year. Average in season area of wheat is around 304.05 lakh hectares in the country.By: Skymetweather.com
