As per data, all India acreage of mustard in the ongoing Rabi season was nearly 58.1 lakh hectare as on November 24’ 2016 up 17.8% from a year ago. Mustard acreage in Rajasthan stands at 24.6 lakh ha up 24% from a year ago, mustard acreage in Uttar Pradesh stands at 9.82 lakh ha up from 15.4% from a year ago. Mustard has been sown in an area of 5.21 lakh hectare in Madhya Pradesh up 23.3% from the same time of last year.By: Skymetweather.com
