Rain delayed the start of the fourth day of the second test between England and Sri Lanka at Lord's on Monday.
Sri Lanka are 372 for three in their first innings in reply to England's 486.
An inspection was scheduled for 1030 GMT after the rain, which had fallen steadily after washing out play midway through Sunday's afternoon session, stopped and the cloud cover began to lift.
