We are just days away from the official launch of the new OnePlus 7 series in India. Since the announcement of its official launch, OnePlus has been giving out certain hints about the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Add to it the flood of leaks detailing what we can expect from the upcoming flagship killers. However, for the first time, full specifications of the OnePlus 7 series may have leaked online.
SlashLeaks has shared the full spec sheet of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Starting with the OnePlus 7 Pro, the first Pro variant by OnePlus features a 6.64-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED display with the 90Hz refresh rate. OnePlus has used a revolutionary technology that has cost the company nearly three times the cost of any flagship device’s display.
DisplayMate gave an A+ rating to the OnePlus 7 Pro’s screen. Previous reports and leaks suggest that OnePlus 7 Pro would have a curved, edge-to-edge display. Tipster Ishan Agarwal has leaked official renders of the OnePlus 7 Pro which falls in line with these reports. Agarwal states that the Pro variant would launch in Nebula Blue and Mirror Grey.
Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC paired with 10GB RAM. Recently, Agarwal posted that the OnePlus 7 Pro would launch in three variants comprising of 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB storage options. In terms of battery, the OnePlus 7 Pro would pack a 4,000 mAh battery with USB Type-C 30W Warp charge technology, as reported previously.
For optics, The Pro version would have a triple camera setup comprising of a 48MP primary sensor. The other two sensors include a 16MP ultra-wide angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. The front camera will have a motorised pop-up selfie camera with the megapixel count still unknown. The OnePlus 7 Pro would have an in-display fingerprint sensor and run on Android 9.0 based OxygenOS.
OnePlus 7
The standard OnePlus 7 would sport a slightly smaller 6.2-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The screen would have a tiny water-drop notch on top and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Compared to the OnePlus 7 Pro, the standard variant would have slightly thicker bezels.
At the heart of the OnePlus 7 would be a Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It would have a dual camera setup with a primary 48MP sensor and a secondary 5MP depth sensor. The water-drop notch would house the front camera sensor.
In terms of power backup, SlashLeaks reported that the OnePlus 7 would pack a larger 4,150 mAh battery with 30W Warp charging support. To its contrary, previous reports suggest that the standard OnePlus 7 would have 3,700 mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. The standard OnePlus 7 would also have an in-display fingerprint scanner and run on Android Pie based Oxygen OS.
Some specifications mentioned in the SlashLeaks report are contrary to what other reports have stated previously. Although the website has maintained a good record in terms of past leaks, we should take it with a pinch of salt and wait for the official launch to know the confirmed specifications
