Gunshots rang outside Salman Khan's home in Mumbai early on Sunday morning as two unidentified people riding a motorbike unloaded their weapons at the Bollywood actor's residence in Bandra, Mumbai Police have said. As per the authorities, officials from the city's Crime Branch as well as forensic experts arrived at Galaxy Apartments, where the actor lives, to conduct a thorough investigation. Initial investigation reveals that the assailants fired three rounds of gunfire at around 5 am.

This is the second time Salman Khan has been under threat after the actor received death threats in 2023. Mumbai Police had filed an FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar in March 2023 after they allegedly sent the threat via email to Salman Khan's office.
