English rapper Example spent a second week at the peak of the British pop charts on Sunday, seeing off a challenge from three new entries in the top five.
The London-born artist, real name Elliot Gleave, secured his first number one single last week with "Changed the Way You Kiss Me" after a string of top 30 hits last year.
Scottish singer-songwriter Calvin Harris and US singer Kelis had to make do with second place with their new single "Bounce". Third position went to another new entry, "The A Team" by English singer Ed Sheeran.
"Give Me Everything", a collaboration by US rapper Pitbull, American singers Ne-Yo and Nayer and Dutch producer Afrojack, fell two places to fourth.
At number five was a third new entry, "Spaceship", by London rappers Tinchy Stryder and Dappy, according to the Official Charts Company, which compiles the weekly rundown.
Boy band Take That returned to the top of the album chart with "Progress", pushing indie rockers Arctic Monkeys down to fourth place.
