LK Advani, A Bachchan likely to receive Padma award: Srcs

Reflecting a political leaning, veteran politician and Bharatiya Janata Party patriarch LK Advani is likely to be on the list of people to be honoured with Padma awards this year. Ramdev, who campaigned excessively for the BJP in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, is also likely to be on the list of awardees.Among the actors, sources say that names of Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan are likely to feature in the list. Referred to as the millennium-star of the film industry, Bachchan is also the brand ambassador for Gujarat.

Ad-man and lyricist Prasoon Joshi who designed BJP's poll campaign is also likely to get the award in 2015.Indian badminton player PV Sindhu and Indian World Champion wrestler Sushil Kumar are also likely to get the award.
