Inside, the dash layout receives subtle updates like chrome detailing in a high-gloss black fascia. The upholstery is done in Milano leather and the steering wheel features a new Q specific design. The new Q5 in addition to a face-lift gets updated petrol and diesel engines with the 2.0TFSI producing 225PS as against the 211 of the outgoing model. In the same vein, the 2.0TDI makes 177PS of power and Audi claims that it will deliver a fuel efficiency of 16.66kmpl. While the petrol engine will be mated to a new 8-speed tiptronic transmission, the diesels (2.0 and 3.0TDI) get a 7-speed S tronic box.
The new Q5 in India is available in showrooms now with six new colours.
