Apple releases iOS 5 beta 6 to developers

Apple have officially released the sixth beta version of iOS 5 to developers marking a step towards the mass rollout of the operating system to users around the world. This update comes just two weeks after iOS 5 beta 5 was rolled out and according to screenshots; the latest build offers bug fixes and other improvements. Those with an Apple developer's ID can download the beta version immediately.

According to a report by Mac Rumors, Apple has also released a new beta of iTunes 10.5 as well as a preview version of Xcode 4.2 that is designed to support the latest iOS firmware. The report goes on to state that Apple has disabled Nike+ syncing with the latest beta version of iTunes for iOS 5 users.
