Game publishing giant Electronic Arts has been working on many games as of late. One of its upcoming games is the sequel to the underrated cult classic Command & Conquer: Generals. The sequel, titled simply Command & Conquer, is all set to be released as a free-to-play title, according to RockPaperShotgun, though the game sticks to the general theme of Generals. Recently, general manager of BioWare Victory John Van Canaghem told PCGamer that the game will not have a single player mode. The game is set to have e-sport features and no single player, according to PCGamer. Here is what Canaghem told PCGamer, “As a live service I think the exciting part is you can try things. You can see what the community wants, you can give it a shot, you can put it up for a weekend and see how it goes, develop towards what the fans like.” EA is all set to release the other series in the Command & Conquer franchise, that is Red Alert and Tiberium, as free-to-play games.
