Sony launches 84-inch 4K TV for Rs 16,99,990

High definition televisions brought roughly four times the resolution of television sets that came before them. The TV industry is all set to do that all over again with 4K television sets. Keeping in mind the upcoming festive season, Sony recently launched an 84-inch 4K TV set in India. The Sony Bravia KD-84X9000 will be available for pre-booking from October 20, and will hit select Sony outlets by late November this year for a price of Rs 16,99,990. 4K TVs have approximately four times the resolution of that of HD televisions, and enable you to watch videos at resolutions of up to 3840 x 2160 pixels. The KD-84X900 boasts of a huge 84-inch 4K LED panel, making for a screen area that is four times as large as a 42-inch TV set.
