IBN Live reviews Micromax‘s Rs.6,499 Funbook tablet

At present, there’s no dearth of affordable Android tablets in the market, with the likes of  Zync Z990, iBerry Auxus, the new HCL tablets, the Ainol Novo 7 Paladin and now, Funbook from Micromax. The Funbook is positioned as the company's first affordable, Ice Cream Sandwich running tablet. IBN Live got their hands on the Funbook a couple of days ago and they were pretty impressed with it. In their review, they mentioned that, “Even in this age of globalisation, we do take a lot of pride in made in India products. More so when the market is flooded with made in China stuff. The Micromax Funbook proudly flaunts its made in India tag and is said to be the first 'swadeshi' tablet. Our review device was manufactured at Simmtronics Semiconductors Limited, Roorkee, Uttarakhand. India is a market of sasta, sundar and tikau (cheap, beautiful and durable)."
