Snapdeal launches an Android app

Snapdeal.com can now be accessed on smart devices that run Google's mobile OS. The app enables access on the go and offers users thousands of brands across various categories. Earlier this year, the e-commerce company launched their WAP platform and the Android app further extends their presence on mobile devices. The application is compatible with Android 2.2 and upwards. The app also offers a range of products and services to browse through based on the user's location. Furthermore, there are integrated payment options with an integrated "One time password" function. As with Snapdeal's desktop services, Cash on delivery exists as a payment option, even through the Android app.Click here for full story
