The Pirate Bay, a popular torrent hosting site has decided to stop hosting torrent files on their site in the future. The site has been better known for hosting torrents, since a while now and many of them were deemed to be pirated content. Back in 2009, The Pirate Bay hosted their own tracker and that was shut down, but torrent files linking to other trackers continued to be hosted on the site. The latest decision to choose Magnet links only means that the service has no files to host, but only links, which are picked up automatically by prominent and pretty much every Bittorrent client, out there. The service has already made the Magnet link the default download option over the existing torrent links. Soon, in all probability the links to torrent files will be discontinued, too.Click here for full story
