Windows Phone is growing as a major mobile platform and while a lot of the bigger apps like Facebook, Twitter and Angry Birds already exist on the platform, there is still visible room for growth for developers. MonsterIndia.com already has apps on the Android and BlackBerry platforms (note iOS is still missing). Now it's made its move on to the Windows Phone platform. Sanjay Modi, Managing Director, Monster.com (India/ Middle East/ South East Asia) commented on the launch saying, "At Monster, our goal is to connect seekers to the right career opportunities by giving them a variety of mobile and web site options  that meet their job search needs.. The mobile industry in India is growing at a rapid pace. According to Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) this country's mobile subscriber base has increased from 893.84 million in December 2011 to 903.73 million in January 2012. Looking at this growth, we are confident that new media especially mobile technology will continue to play a pivotal role in empowering the jobseekers."
