Hewlett Packard Co said it is combining its imaging and printing group and its personal systems group in a major reorganization to save costs and boost growth.

The unit will be headed by HP's current PC chief Todd Bradley, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Reuters reported on Tuesday that HP was planing to combine its PC and printing divisions.

HP, the largest U.S. technology company by revenue, is struggling to keep its core personal computing business in the black, as mobile devices from tablets to smartphones eat into sales, and is trying to reinvent itself as a major enterprise computing provider.
