One of the most popular mobile games, Temple Run, is getting a sequel. Temple Run 2 is available for free on iTunes for the iPhone and iPad. The sequel seems to be building upon the original with new gameplay mechanics like the inclusion of the zipline, mine carts and a new power meter.Imangi Studio co-founder Keith Shepherd said that the game is more of what fans loved, but with a depth that his team wasn't able to add in the first game. "We wanted to set out and do all the things we wanted to do with Temple Run but we couldn't fit in," Shepherd says. "It feels like a bigger, better, more awesome version of the first game."The level design is also set to be much more aesthetically pleasing this time around. The game will take place in a floating temple in the clouds. "The world you're running in is much more rich and vibrant," Shepherd says. "There are curves and hills and valleys and stairs."
