The Lenovo IdeaPad K1 just became the most value for money Android tablet in the market with the recent price cut, which now puts it at just Rs.22,800. If you’re thinking that this is just the base model then you couldn’t be more wrong. For this price, you get the fully spec’d out model which comes with 3G and 32GB of internal storage. The tablet is currently retailing on Flipkart so grab one now before they're all gone. It seems like Lenovo wants to get rid of their inventory, possibly to make way for newer tablets. We don’t think the IdeaPad K1 really flew off the shelves from the time it launched back in October</strong>, which is a real shame since we really liked the tablet when we reviewed it. At present, the K1 will come with Android 3.1 Honeycomb, however, Lenovo has said that they do plan on releasing ICS via an OTA update sometime in the future. Don’t stress about that too much though as a quick Google search will tell you that there are a bunch of custom ICS ROMs for the K1 already like this CM9 port. For this price, it’s really hard to complain though as you’re getting a 3G-ready 10.1-inch dual-core tablet for the price of a Wi-Fi only iPad 2. This is a good Rs.10,000 drop since it launched for Rs.33, 990.
