While Flipboard hopped from the iPad to the iPhone, earlier this week, Google launched its own news aggregator app, Currents. As mentioned in Google's blog post, the app works on Android devices, the iPhone and the iPad and lets you explore online magazines and other content. Google has partnered up with over 150 publishers to bring content to mobile devices. The app will bring full length articles from more than 180 editions. You can navigate between words, pictures and video even if you're offline.
