Microsoft launches cloud storage iOS app

Microsoft has gone a step further in cooperating with rival Apple's iOS platform and released an iOS app for SkyDrive, its cloud storage service.

Microsoft has gone a step further in cooperating with rival Apple's iOS platform and has released an iOS app for SkyDrive, its cloud storage service. According to the Huffington Post, this is the second app Microsoft has pushed into the iOS App Store; the first being My Xbox Live. SkyDrive allows you to store your photos, music, and documents in the cloud, as well as upload and download files. You can share a link to any file via e-mail. To access SkyDrive, you need a Windows Live ID (Hotmail, Messenger or Xbox Live).
