"We would like to submit that Gautam Adani and Rajesh Adani are individual promoters of various listed entities within the Adani group and Vinod Adani is an immediate relative of the individual promoters," the group's flagship Adani Enterprises said in a stock exchange filing on Thursday.
"A Chinese national, Chang Chung-Ling (aka Lingo-Chang) has been a director in several Adani Group companies along with Vinod Adani and has also made an appearance in the Panama Papers," Ramesh claimed.
Posing a set of three questions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the party's "Hum Adani ke Hain Kaun" series, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh alleged that the Adani group has made "misrepresentations" about Vinod Adani's central role in its "nefarious activities".
Gujarat-based Adani Power rallied more than 5 percent in early trade on Friday as Vinod Adani purchased 75 lakh shares, which are worth Rs 33.75 crore, in the company.
